Thank You! I finished the book this morning! We all do have another chance-and you touched me with how well you're living that. Yours has been a wonderful journey, inspiring and I've just recommended it to my 24 year old son to read.
The beautiful Valentine's poem you wrote to your bride is perfect. Your words as caregiver are what we would all strive for.
I think I shared with you my involvement with the American Cancer Society through former work and now volunteering. I'm the Co-Chair of a Relay For Life event in Brick Town, May 30-31- would you and your bride like to attend our Survivor's luncheon at noon on Sat. May 30th? The reading of your poem would bring strength and joy to the survivors and caregivers present. If you think that may not work, would you grant us the privilege of reading it before our honorees?
Thanks again, this has been a delightful experience for me.
ps. I would love another copy next mail day-I'd like to give it to Lisa B.- I know she would enjoy-maybe you could autograph her copy too-and I have the moolah in an envelope for you. Thanks again- what fun! all the best, Vieno
